My first race of the year, a 5k, on January 9, 2010. I missed my time goal by 16 seconds. My time of 20:15 was good enough for 2nd place in the 40-49 AG.
Silver Strand Half Marathon 2009
Sunday, November15, 2009. My fourth half marathon of 2009. My goal time was to go under 1:40, but my official time was 1:41:37, a new PR.
Shelter Island 5K 2009
November 8, 209: Shelter Island, San Diego. I finished 3rd in my age group with a time of 20:58.
LIVESTRONG Challenge, Austin 2009
90-mile charity bike ride for Lance Armstrong Foundation, October 24-25, 2009 in Austin, Texas. Team Tuma: Gerry de Ocampo and Murray Webb riding in honor of Vivien Tuma. Participated in 5k run (Saturday) and 90-mile ride (Sunday).
